There are many hazards that cannot be detected from the ground. This means our technicians must climb onto your roof to do a chimney top inspection. We check many things while we are up on the roof of your home. The things we look for are listed below:
- Improperly constructed or unstable chimneys
- Cracks inside chimney
- Height of the chimney
- Liner condition
- Evidence of chimney fires
- Brick – missing mortar, loose, or cracked
- Deteriorating crowns
- Rust on any of the chimney

Depending on your type of fireplace and chimney flue, your chimney sweep may need to be performed from either the top of your roof or from the bottom.
