Our preliminary examination begins with an initial study of the exterior of your chimney along with a check of your roof for any unusual traits such as leaning or short chimneys. Its during this step of the process that we sit down with our customer to gather more information on the fireplace like when it was last cleaned, how often you use it and so forth.
The technician will them perform our 21 Point Safety Inspection, during which he makes his assessment on every piece of your chimney and fireplace. So that we can determine if any repair work will be required to make sure that the fireplace is in good working order and is safe to use. The tech will then present his findings to the customer. These include any recommendations on the work and providing an estimate of the cost to do the work as well as the amount of time need to complete the job.
